The greatest, well, ONE of the greatest films ever. And there are very few 10 (Excellent) films. That push in on Duke, and his expression when he sees the crazy girls that were traumatized by Comanches; fantastic. Interesting to see the differences in the script and film.

This movie is surely one of the best films ever made, and one of John Wayne's finest performances. The other cast members are also fine in their performances.

Have watched this movie many times down the years-excellent. A shame that Jeffery Hunter died so young.
